Gerard and Denise McNicholas welcome you to The Pilgrims Rest.
The Pilgrims Rest sits in the heart of the Kent countryside a few miles south of the City of Canterbury and only a short drive to the coast and the Ferry ports of Dover and Ramsgate and the Channel Tunnel at Folkestone.
The Property itself was part of the Manor of Littlebourne and was used by the Steward to the Archbishop of Canterbury as a resting place when he came to survey the land and property that formed the Manor.
The oldest part of the property is formed from two buildings one early 17th century and one early 18th century. The original wooden construction is clearly shown internally by the wealth of exposed wall and ceiling beams.
